CLU Merge Button

In CREATE FIELDS, multiple Common Land Units (CLU’s) may be merged into one field with the Merge button.

1. Option1: MultipleCLU’sare displayed, but there is only one field. Tap Merge button.

2. After tapping on Merge button, the Merge button disappears, and all trash cans disappear from every CLU. Tap on each CLU in the field to merge. Each CLU turns black and adds a trash can. Tap on FINISH MERGE to complete.

3. Option 2: CLU’s not already displayed red may also be selected. Tap Merge button.

4. After tapping on Merge button, the Merge button disappears, and the trash can on the red selected field disappears. Tap on each CLU in a field (clear or red) to merge. Each CLU turns black. Tap on FINISH MERGE to complete.

5. With either Option, the MERGE button reappears, and all TRASH CANS but one are removed, indicating one field now created from multiple CLU’s.

6. After adding fields, either manually or from FMID, users are asked “Would you like to add more fields?” When NO is selected, users receive this Confirm prompt message reminding the user to merge any CLU’s that need to be combined into one field before moving on to EDIT FIELD INFORMATION.
