Adjusting Rx Rates using Rx Scale Factor setting.
- You already created VRx files (or Fixed Rate with Test Blocks) from Advantage Acre and have already uploaded to your Case IH Pro 700.
- However, now you would like to increase your seeding rates (e.g. late-planted soybeans), while maintaining the zones of variation created by Advantage Acre.
- You can adjust the Rx scale factor directly on the Pro 700, without having to create, download and upload new Advantage Acre VRx files. To do this, follow the steps below.
- Go to the Toolbox menu:
- Select the Product tab
- Being that the Rx Scale Factor setting is under the Product tab, you must adjust this setting for each product (this setting is not per field, or per Rx file)
- Adjust the Rx Scale Factor setting according to your needs.
- By default, it should be 1:1 (or 100% true to the Rx file)
- If wanting to increase by 8%, Rx Scale Factor should be 1:1.08
- If wanting to increase by 10%, Rx Scale Factor should be 1:1.10
- If wanting to increase by 20%, Rx Scale Factor should be 1:1.20
You are now ready to plant with your adjusted Advantage Acre Rx!
