Once the user has clicked “change to variable rate” if they would like to modify the rate that was generated for them, the user can do so by clicking the “modify rate” (figure 2) tab located on the right-hand side of the screen.

Once they have clicked the “Modify Rate” tab a box (figure 3) will pop up on the left-hand side of the screen indicating the following options:
- Increase rate
- Decrease rate
- Increase field rate
- Decrease field rate
- Set rate
- Undo
- Redo
- Revert to last saved
- Recalculate rates
- Add test block
- Remove Block
- Boundary rate

If you would like to increase or decrease the rate of the recommendation in certain areas of the field, you can modify this by clicking on either the (1.) Increase rate or (2.) Decrease rate options. If the user clicks one of those options a brush will be visible on the field (Figure 4). To edit simply brush the cursor on the area of the field you would like to modify (Figure 4). To change the size of the brush, use the sliding bar located on the left-hand side of the screen (Figure 4). If you would like to (6.) Undo (7.) redo (8.) revert to last saved or (9.) recalculate rates after making modifications you can do so by clicking on the options circled in red.

If the user would like to change the boundary rate the user may also do so by clicking the (12.) boundary rate. It will then have a drop down options that will allow the user to edit the boundary width and set to rate (Figure 5). The user may consider modifying this if they are close to a gravel road or wooded area as just a few examples.
